Value Communications Director / Associate Director

BluePath Solutions is a consulting firm specializing in the generation and communication of evidence to attain, maximize, and retain the value of healthcare technologies.

We primarily focus on health economics, outcomes research, and communication of value evidence to population-level healthcare decision makers, such as payers.

We most often support biopharmaceutical, medical device and medical diagnostic companies.

Within BluePath Solutions, the Value Marketing and Communications department provides strategic and tactical support to clients covering a range of services.

Those services include, but are not limited to, the development of strategic plans (i.e., value stories) to more tactical exercises like the development of value communication resources for external field use.

The role will require managing a team of direct reports within the value communications team.

This team is responsible for the conceptualization, development and approval of external field resources used by account managers and medical liaisons.

As a Director, you will be responsible for executing the synthesis and translation of value-based evidence (e.g., clinical evidence, health economics and outcomes research data and economic models) into actionable insights for our clients that are delivered in a variety of platforms.

Examples of delivery platforms include slide decks, brochures, websites, interactive calculators and health economic models.

The role requires managing a diverse set of clients and staff across a variety of projects, products and therapeutic areas.

The applicant must have experience in strategic thinking to conceptualize ideas as well as significant experience with developing field resources for healthcare decision makers.

Specifically, experience with design and material compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Value Marketing & Communications, the Director responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead a team of direct reports in the design, development and approval of external field resources designed for population-level healthcare decision makers Provide thought leadership and consultative guidance to clients on value communications strategies and tactics, including design and development of new communication platforms Maintain and grow existing client relationships, actively participate in business development, and support R&D efforts related to value communication resource innovation Act as engagement manager to clients for a broad book of work covering multiple clients and projects and maintain team accountability in managing execution of deliverables Required Qualifications and Skills At least 3 years of industry or consulting experience focused on field resource development and experience in managing staff that are responsible for the development of field resources Strong knowledge and understanding of the healthcare landscape as well robust knowledge and experience with clinical, health economic and outcomes research evidence Ability to interpret, translate and connect evidence together for communication to non-technical decision makers making population-health decisions Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, time management, and project planning skills with strong ability for self-direction Must thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient Diverse experience with Veeva software products, specifically Veeva Promomats and CRM, across a range of clients Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
