Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Permanent Construction AP Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice coding, data entry, and vendor correspondence
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare month-end reports and assist with financial statement preparation
• Manage vendor correspondence, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits
• Provide support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience with SAGE 100 or equivalent accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of construction industry and related accounting practices is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred
