The Sales Manager must have sales experience handling multiple product lines with focus on cross selling, price negotiation, working with HEICO sales force, selling inventory, and participates in marketing activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Leverage strong understanding of our business and the ability to discuss our services with customers in a clear and concise manner. * Responds swiftly and courteously to customer inquiries through phone, web and social channels. * Work with internal sales team, parts department, and General Manager to develop and provide quotes to customers. * Manages AOG situations on behalf of the customer if and as needed. * Contribute towards increased sales, margin, new business and opportunity closure. * Conduct execution with customer quotes and RFPs. * Account development, primarily focused on MRO and broker/distributor market segments. * Prospect new customers; perform follow up calls, and/or “cold calls”. The focus is on generating new prospects and opportunities beyond the existing customer set. Extra consideration will be given to candidates possessing either specific regional and/or market segment expertise. * Provides periodic detailed sales and revenue reports to the General Manager as requested (e.g. sales trend analysis, revenue forecast, projected service volume by quarter, service sales forecasts) for the use in monitor progress, annual budgets, staffing, and long-term planning. * Ensure bidding and post-contract award processes are in compliance, disseminated throughout the organization as necessary and monitored thoroughly. * Travel as necessary in the performance of duties. * Attend local, national and international trade shows and exhibits for purposes of developing new business contacts and general public relations activity. * Analyze and control expenditure of departments to meet budgetary requirements. * Prepares and analyses sales reports. * Respond to sales inquiries in aviation e-Marketplace platform. * Partner with internal Marketing team in creating flyers and presentations to promote the business. * Have technical understanding of the product and services offered. * Performs other duties as required. EDUCATION: * High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. * Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing from an accredited college or university preferred or the equivalent combination of experience and education preferred. EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in the general aviation industry. * Requires direct marketing/sales experience for FAA repair stations. * Sales experience in T56-501, CF6-80C2, CFM56-5A,5B,7B, V2500 engine components a plus. * Sales experience in Leonardo Helicopter AW139, AW109, AW119 Exhausts a plus. * Proficient in Microsoft Office. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES: * Language/Communication Skills: The ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, reports and correspondence. Excellent ability to communicate both orally and in writing. * Computer Skills: Proficient working knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook PowerPoint * Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic mathematics. * Reasoning Abilities: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. * Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary, with minimal supervisory direction. * Interpersonal Skills: Must work well and communicate with others.
