The Opportunity

The Compliance Manager is a key position on Ally’s Enterprise Compliance Program team within ECRA which manages and oversees two key compliance program pillars: Compliance Risk Assessments and Regulatory Change Management.

The role will also include collaborating with Compliance Transformation to modernize and streamline these and other related processes.

The Compliance Manger will manage the execution of General Compliance Risk Assessments across the organization including the tools and methodology.

The role will also involve managing the Enterprise Regulatory Change Management program reporting and oversight.

The Compliance Manager will be part of a team that drives and implements strategic changes and process enhancements across these programs.

The Work Itself

  • Plan, train assessors, and launch the General Compliance Risk Assessments
  • Maintain Compliance Risk Assessment Methodology and tools
  • Oversee Regulatory Change Management processes including BL and CRMC reporting
  • Serve as the RCSA Coordinator for ECRA including the execution and management of trigger events
  • Work closely with the Compliance Program Director to identify and implement strategic changes
  • Authoritative Source relationship management
  • Document, test, and deploy tool enhancements

The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years Risk Management experience, regulatory compliance experience strongly preferred;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; and strong organizational skills;
  • Able to exercise independent thought and judgment and adapt to new tasks and objectives
  • Strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving
  • Ability to effectively identify and recommend actions for process improvement
  • Experienced in influencing and collaborating across channels 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Desired: RSA Archer experience
