We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Construction Controller to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our commercial construction projects, ensuring that budgets are adhered to, and job costs are accurate. As a Permanent Construction Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as financial reporting. Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial aspects of our commercial construction projects, ensuring that budgets are adhered to and job costs are accurate.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring that all invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to ensure that all stakeholders are kept up-to-date on project finances.
• Work with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that project budgets are accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide regular financial updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, and that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Work with external auditors to ensure that all financial records are in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure that all financial transactions are properly authorized and recorded.
• Provide support to other members of the finance team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction finance.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, costing, and job cost accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
