Starts at $17.00*/hour PLUS additional compensation:

Shift differential (up to $2.00/hour)

Relevant experience in field (up to $2.00/hour)

Credit for higher education($.48/hr for Bachelors degree; $.72/hr for Masters degree)

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides programs and services for individuals with significant intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or emotional or behavioral challenges. Located in E. Orlando, FL, this position is responsible for leading and directing the work of other Direct Support professionals that care for adults with Autism, IDD, Mental Health, or are dually-diagnosed, in a group home setting. This position is responsible for:

• Assistingindividuals served in achieving maximum level of independence.
• Providing direction and supervision of inidividuals served while assisting them with and teaching them activities of daily living skills.
• Promoting self-sufficiency, and assists individuals in capitalizing on their strengths.
• Implementing individualized treatment plans, safety plans and documents individuals’ progress in accordance with established procedures.
• Assisting in creating a safe, home-like living and treatment environment for individuals served.
