General Assistance in the Purchasing Department
Filing – Electronic and Manual
– Confer with vendors and shippers to get updated information, ensuring supplies and equipment are forwarded to meet the specified received dates.
-Follow-up with suppliers on late orders.-
Computer and Internet searches for specific items.

*Proficient in computer operations including Excel, Word; , E-mail, and managing files and records.
*Communication Skills – Strong listening and speaking skills in English to clearly and accurately respond to customer inquiries and concerns. Due to the use of e-mail, must write well, using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
*Problem-solving Skills – Analyze situations, investigate problems, and determine solutions.
*Interpersonal Skills – Creating and maintaining positive relationships is an essential part of the job.
