Highway Engineering Associate

We are looking for a civil engineer with the desire to work on our highway and transportation projects to help with our rapidly growing firm. The Highway Engineering Associate will work with a team of engineers within the Infrastructure Practice. This position will be engaged in a large variety of transportation-focused projects, from large and complex expressway/interstate roadway facilities to smaller, safety-focused pedestrian improvements. The position involves participating in the development of highway engineering design for a variety of project types.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• 0+years of Civil Engineering experience with an emphasis in transportation/highway engineering
• Basic knowledge of civil engineering design, systems, calculations, along with the application of engineering methods and construction methods and materials
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of MicroStation and/or Open Roads
• Prior internship and/or related engineering experience (strongly preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
• EI Certification preferred
