Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Accounting / Controller to join our fast-paced and innovative technology company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience working in public accounting and a CPA designation. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations for the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards
• Manage the month-end close process and prepare financial statements
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
• Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects
• Manage relationships with external auditors and other financial partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting or a similar role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting standards
• Proficiency in Excel or SQL
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing a team of accounting professionals
