For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Flight Test Engineer to join our test team as a Test Director performing developmental and certification testing of commercial airplanes and military derivatives.

The team operates primarily out of Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington with some testing in Everett and Renton, as well as occasional testing at various domestic and international sites for up to 2-4 weeks at a time.

Position Responsibilities:Collaborating across a broad spectrum of individuals and disciplinesDeveloping plans for upcoming testingBriefing and conducting ground and flight testing on board the aircraft and debriefing the testEvaluating test results and working to resolve any issues encountered.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.

§ 120.15 is required.

US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistryExperienced leading a diverse test team during the brief, test conduct, and debrief of flight tests3+ engineering experienceExperienced participating as a test team member, flying on board the aircraft during maneuvering flight Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Three years of experience as a Test Director/Test Conductor supporting a major aircraft development and certification flight test programGraduate of a Test Pilot School as a pilot or engineer, or equivalent experienceOperational Risk Management and Crew Resource Management skills5+ engineering experience Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
