Position:Solutions ArchitectJob Description:Arrow Electronics has an excellent opportunity for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect in our Cambridge, MA location.

This position will be responsible for consulting Arrows clients in a global, complex, and rapidly growing environment.This role will be responsible for consultative technical sales and expanding our SiliconExpert, Transim and SaaS division product and service lines.

We are looking for a fearless Pre-Sales Engineer to be part of a strong and expanding team.

The ideal candidate is someone that has in-depth experience consulting clients directly on customized web, SaaS, and software-based solutions.

What Youll Be Doing:Consult, develop, and implement technical and related sales enablement plans with partners and internal/external customers to support revenue and margin goals.Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to sell and support API and Data integrations such as PLM and ERPProvide Pre-Sales Technical Support, complex sales tool configurations, and systems design to implement systems software solutions and/or products.Conduct partner and sales technical team training.

Assist Arrow customers and partners with technical certifications or with product/technology demonstrations.Responsible for working with sales reps, business partners and end users to create systems configurations based on customer requirements.Creates systems configurations based on customer requirements, offers product recommendations and runs alternative configurations that may present a better solution to the customer.Responsible for working with sales reps, business partners and end users to resolve design configuration issues and run revisions.Trains sales reps and partner engineers on configuration tools and how to use them, as well as provides pre-sales product training.Keeps up to date with new products that are introduced and maintains product certifications.Prepares technical presentations and vendor trainings to partners on products and solutions and provides product demonstrations to show how a product meets client needs.Educate partners, inside sales, and other technicians on products and solutions.

What we are looking for: 3 to 5+ years of successful pre-sales engineering experience in the areas of SaaS, Software, or custom Web based solutions.3 to 5+ years of experience in providing custom data solutions or software solutions recommendations.Proven ability to meet quotas/metrics, develop sales pipelines, and consult customers in a client facing capacity.Ability to think creatively and provide service-oriented solutions recommendations to meet customer demand.Availability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 40%).

Preferred skills:SaaS sales and pre-sales experience.Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or manufacturing industry experience.Background on Electronic Components data clean-up, collection, integration, and validation from multiple sourcesExperience / EducationTypically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
