Overview
Solutions Analysts are responsible for promoting, facilitating, and supporting the sales of CSA’s solutions and professional services portfolio. Qualified candidates should exhibit an equal measure of direct sales and technical skills and/or experience. Successful Analysts are able to demonstrate technical and project management abilities to establish themselves as a value-added resource, and trusted advisor/consultant to our internal direct Sales organization.
Analysts are measured on 1) solutions & professional services revenue generated by the Sales teams they support, 2) technical knowledge of our products and their use cases through professional development objectives and 3) administrative skills such as project management, project documentation, forecasting accuracy, and time management.
Responsibilities
– Assist the sales team with the evaluation of prospective customers, account strategy, and printing applications solutions.
– Participate in sales calls, on-site visits to customers for meetings, surveys and inspections (assessments/discovery, proof of concept and statement of work).
– Meet with customer IT staff as technical advisor.
– Assist with RFP responses and provide on-going project management support on large, complex, diverse and challenging solution architecting and implementation.
– Assist in the installation and integration of products and product applications.
– Responsible for generating professional services revenue streams independent of equipment and software sales, conducting customer training classes, and providing installation and integration direction of advanced Color Solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or 3+ years successfully supporting software sales with an internal Sales team is required.
– Working knowledge of production applications such Web2Print, Makeready, Output management, Variable Data, Mailing Solutions and Color Management experience.
Understand and be comfortable using the Adobe Creative Suite product, and/or other standard color composition and management tools and respective file formats (JPEG, TIFF, EPS, and PDF).
Able to use and operate Postscript/PDF file handling tools, such as Acrobat Pro Distiller, etc.
– Desirable industry certifications include G7 Expert, Fiery Expert and Fiery Professional. IT fundamentals and/or Network certifications a plus.
Certified Color Management Professional and experience in black and white printing with data stream an Additional Data Stream knowledge – AFP, VIPP, PPML and LCDS/Metacode a plus.d data conversion software experience.
– Excellent verbal and written communications, with the ability to adapt one’s communication style to three levels of internal/external clients (External Customers, Internal Sales Leadership, Internal Sales Reps).
– Demonstrable personal organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Understanding of complex systems solutions, integration and networking in Windows and Macintosh environments.
– Extensive travel is required, up to 70% with overnight stays (valid drivers’ license and acceptable driving record necessary). Certain minimum auto insurance coverages are required.
