Overview

Tenured marketing or industry professional. Works independently, provides updates to manager on business status/activities/conditions with little direction from manager. Requirements include technical proficiency across multiple products/solutions. Manages the lifecycle of an assigned product(s)/projects from providing insights to the factory based on market/customer needs; launching new products to the market, managing the population through end of sales/service. Creates and executes on category marketing plans which aligns to corporate & marketing strategies. Drives business efficiencies. Researches and identifies new markets, customer needs and competitive markets. Requirements include supporting customer events, the sales organization and, working closely the factory and internal departments especially service. This role could entail partnership management and negotiation skills. Requires sound business decisions, understanding product financials and risk management and able to handle multple projects concurrently delivering on deadlines.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the creation and execution of individual corporate strategies and marketing plans for service, supplies and media categories respectively ensuring alignment within overall corporate strategies and objectives. Requires the ability to foster strong relationships with the media & ink partners, factory heqdquarters, media lab, service teams and the engine/SW category specialists.
Assist with visibility to the PL monthly including presentation of opportunities/issues to service and PPS management
Identify, develop and execute on market based pricing, programs, competitive & market landscape and marketing story for categories of responsibility
Manage supplies lifecycle and planning supporting product procurement & logistics teams
Works closely with service and the factory while supporting the service strategy communication
Develops go-to-market tools to support assigned categories of responsibility including sales tools, customer facing documentation
Liaise with the paper mills and merchants, and the media and solutions lab to develop and maintain new media and media solutions supporting the product portfolio in collaboration with the engine/SW category managers.
Responsible for developing new application and market opportunities, including but not limited to the TDM, Commercial Print, Corporate and Packaging/Label markets in support of driving new volume growth and revenue opportunities.
Be a resource on ink and media; ensure fast and accurate communication with field sales to support their sales activities and provide results-driven recommendations for customer facing solutions. Requires the ability to provide professional media & ink presentations to customers, executive management and in support of PPS Events.
Build relationships with Paper Mills across the Americas; enable, track and communicate media performance test results as well as drive a go-to-market plan presenting the numerous opportunities for our customers.
Build competitive financial models and help our customers understand the value of inkjet paper and how it drives our low total cost of ownership when producing inkjet based applications.

Qualifications

-Effectively able to communicate and lead initiatives within the organization across multiple departments, the factory and with partners with consideration of cultural differences. Works to ensure communication and planning is proactive.Individual contributor with working corporate knowledge and an emphasis on building a working team synergy skill setDegree in Media & Ink Science, Marketing, or a technical Digital Printing and Inkjet related fieldor a minimum of 5 years experience in the print industry with a strong understanding of service, media, supplies and marketing.Strong administrative and project management background able to analyze data, draw conclusions, define and execute to completion go-forward strategies and tacticsExcellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Able to present to internal stakeholders/executives and externally to customers.Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.Excellent time-management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft products especially Excel and PPT.
