The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR. OR Registered Nurses will prep the room and the patient for the procedure and make positive that all medical equipment is sterile and working correctly.ResponsibilitiesOR Nurse responsibilities consist of:
Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the operation.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and hand instruments and medical supplies to them during procedures.
Gathering and tracking any items needed for lab work.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
