Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology Per Diem Days

Summary

The Registered Nurse / RN is responsible for maintaining optimum care of geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric, patient population in the Imaging Department. The Registered Nurse / RN serves as a clinical resource person for the Imaging Department. Assists in scheduling interventional procedures. Serves as a liaison between nursing staff in Patient Care Areas, and the Imaging Department. Assists with quality improvement monitoring, problem identification, remedial action activities and reporting. The Registered Nurse / RN must demonstrate competencies related to the use of moderate sedation. The Registered Nurse / RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

on call and as needed – prefer monday and Tuesday

Qualifications:

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)

Experience

2 years of Interventional, Critical Care, or Emergency care experience

Pediatric experience is preferred

Certifications

Required: RN Licensed for Florida, American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, & BLS certifications
