Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S.

and allied militaries.

This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

Candidate will perform reviews for PWB designs with an emphasis on manufacturing and producibility as well as analysis and identification of IPC non-conformance.

Identification of potential board failure modes, performance and/or quality issues as well as mitigation strategies.

Candidate will need to have a working relationship and act as liaison with PWB Suppliers and have understanding of manufacturing methodologies.

Will need to work with procurement, quality engineering, programs, and our PWB suppliers to resolve manufacturing, first article inspection, and source inspection issues.

May be required to travel to different suppliers and gather data on their equipment and capabilities to help strategize optimal PWB vendors for fabrication of program board designs.

Orlando is about an hour’s drive from Cocoa Beach and the “space coast” to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center.

Tampa is about 1 and ¼ hours from Orlando.

West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast.

Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications:

– Knowledge of printed wiring board and surface mount technologies.

– Knowledge of military and/or industry hardware specifications is desired.

– Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

– Candidate must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience in printed wiring board technologies
Desired Skills:

– Active Secret Clearance

– Three plus years of experience working with printed wiring board and surface mount technologies is desired.

– Three plus years of experience working with military and/or industry hardware specifications is desired.
