COMPANY SUMMARY: Vaniam Group LLC operates eleven unique companies focused on providing medical communication solutions and strategic consulting services to pharmaceutical/ biotechnology clients who operate within the hematology/ oncology therapeutic area.

Through its companies, Vaniam Group supports the development of customized solutions for medical communications (symposia, congress planning, clinical/scientific data review), publication planning, medical education (training modules, workshops, digital platforms), and product life cycle planning (advisory boards, clinical trial awareness and enrollment strategies, competitive intelligence).

POSITION SUMMARY: The Vaniam Group Senior Account Executive is quick on her/his feet and always one step ahead.

The Senior Account Executives primary goal is to oversee successful implementation of existing client SOWs, coordinating internal and external resources, managing timelines and budgets, and providing day-to-day communication with the clients.

Even in hectic circumstances, the Senior Account Executive troubleshoots, remains cool under pressure, and communicates concisely and effectively to keep clients and internal teams informed and organized.

In addition, this role is responsible to support business development and improvement in alignment with Vaniam Group goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Market and Agency Knowledge Demonstrates knowledge of therapeutic area of assigned account(s) and competitive environment Demonstrates significant knowledge of agency procedure, is an advocate for agency process, and contributes to process improvement Has deep understanding of a wide range of project types across Medical Affairs and Commercial functions Employs ability to modify core product framework plans to form custom project plans Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare regulations Strategy Understands client positioning and strategy Has knowledge of Medical Communications concepts and practices Keeps internal team informed of changes in client/competitive climate Evaluates deliverables against Project Briefs Contributes thoughtfully to the brand tactical planning Works with client and internal teams to successfully execute scoped tactics Communication Is responsible for accurate and thorough documentation: status reports, contact report, timelines Takes ownership of day-to-day tactics and execution within agency Synchronizes communications between account teams, support teams, vendors, and client Effectively and concisely communicates basic agency recommendations to clients Communicates directly, frequently, and autonomously with client; builds rapport and credibility with client based on trust and expert counsel Manages difficult conversations effectively Finance & Operations Shows confidence developing budgets Ensures invoicing is consistent with agreed-upon payment terms Keeps accurate record of time spent on client work and manages project burn rate Maintains accurate and organized project folders Assists in project reconciliation and works with accounting to ensure accurate billing Note: These are the major functions and accountabilities required of the position and are the predominant criteria by which performance will be assessed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES: EDUCATION: Minimum: Bachelors Degree A minimum of 3 years of client services experience A minimum of 2 years of agency or pharmaceutical advertising experience (required) A minimum of 1 year of oncology/hematology experience EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES: Has flexibility to travel as needed (US and ex-US) for up to 40% of the time and manages increased travel around congresses and industry meetings Is flexible, adaptable, and cool under pressure Shows ability to manage and prioritize personal and team workload effectively Is results-oriented, with a commitment to accountability Demonstrates strong customer service focus, aiming to go above and beyond COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION: Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a dynamic, virtual environment Possesses strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels within the organization and with clients Highly proficient with the following computer programs and systems: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, WebEx (or other similar systems), cloud-based file servers, calendars, messaging systems and work management tools preferred Has excellent oral and written communication skills PROBLEM SOLVING & TIME MANAGEMENT: Ability to innovate/brainstorm new ideas to solve clients challenges Well-organized Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, plan for additional resources, set goals and objectives, organize other people and other tasks Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex or diverse information Ability to multitask and work within high-pressure situations Exhibits excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions, and work well in group problem solving solutions Demonstrates a sense of urgency to obtain results Has availability and willingness to work beyond 9-5 work hours INTEGRITY & QUALITY: Shows strong organizational skills Respects confidentiality for client and company information Ensures the highest standards of quality control of client deliverables TRAVEL: Travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project, sponsor and organizational needs (40% travel expected)
