Extensive knowledge in all outpatient diagnostic testing with expertise in a specific high-end modality. Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service with patients and physician offices in order to maintain and/or promote growth of the organization. Ability to multi-task and help the department queue when needed with high call volumes. Coordinates different exams (preparations, clinical criteria and Radiology protocols) while ensuring data accuracy for patient safety and demonstrating the highest level of service excellence. Maintain an in-depth, updated knowledge of all Baptist Health imaging facilities, services provided, driving directions and other pertinent information to educate patients and facilitate a positive patient experience. Customer service expectations include meeting and/or exceeding departmental service levels (90/20 – 90% of calls answered within 20 seconds) an abandoned call rate of lt;5% and individual call quality goals. Maintain knowledge of Baptist Health pricing and financial assistance options and refer callers as appropriate to the Corporate Pricing Office and the Financial Assistance Department. Train and orient new staff members while serving as a resource to internal and external departments. Provide coverage, as necessary, for Team Leader(s)/Supervisor.

Estimated pay range for this position is %2416.04 – %2419.41 / hour depending on experience.


High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent training or experience required. Medical Terminology preferred (written and oral). At least two years within the Baptist Health Scheduling Call Center preferred. Data entry skills. Understanding of the Medicare coverage structure, including Medical necessity compliance guidelines. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, intense high call volume call center. Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred. Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
